Terk SIR-6 with Sirius Audivox Boombox?

I just received my Terk SIR-6 outdoor antenna. I intended to use it with
my Sirius Audiovox Boombox with PNP2 but the cable-end has a shroud over
it too wide to fit the Boombox antenna connection.

Does anyone know if there an easy work-around or an adaptor I can get?

Does the shroud look like this?

If so, you can snap it off with a tiny screwdriver and that will leave just
the SMB connector.

No, that's not it.

This is the connector, (see attached). It does not fit into the Sirius
Audiovox PNP2 boom Box: http://www.rvlover.net/sirius/connect.jpg
