Hello Folks,
I am happy to report that I received notification from Mediacom stating
that they corrected their error. Their News Server now has
alt.radio.satellite added to the netnews.mchsi.com News Server.
I have also checked and found that Comcast has also corrected their News
Server and alt.radio.satellite is now on netnews.comcast.net news
server.
I am also happy to report that alt.radio.satellite.gz no longer exist on
the netnews.mchsi.com/netnews.comcast.net News Severs.
Best Regards,
Fred

Hello Folks,
Just a quick follow up.
The posting I made on the netnews.mchsi.com News Server immediately
appeared on netnews.mchsi.com, netnews.comcast.net, and
news.cyberec.com. It appears that everything is working properly.
Regards,
Fred

Good news. I'm on Mediacom and also see that the "gz" group is gone and
they now have the correct group. Although I have a Giganews account, I use
it mainly for binaries and like to use the Mediacom server for the text
groups.

How interesting that both corrected it at the same time. I wonder why.

Well, now that I know you are getting it too, I guess I won't need to cross
post to the .gz anymore so long as everyone gets the right group now.
