Found out about this group from a signature in a message on the
XMFan.com message boards.

This group may see alot more action now because of that. I don't know
if anyone has mentioned it on XM411.com or siriusfan.com or any other
satellite radio site yet.

Also, Google picked up some messages that appear to go back to 2001.
Could be some config errors on the part of some peoples' news readers.
Less than 20 message threads were visible at the time I posted this
message.

Try kzion.com and byuradio.com. Playing music not presently found on
XM or Sirius.

Welcome to alt.radio.satellite!

This group is brand new, about a week and a half old. We just got
added to Google Groups yesterday so there are quite a few threads which
did not make it onto Google. However from yesterday onwards Google
Groups will be archiving the group. You see a thread from 2001 because
it was crossposted to what was then a nonexistant group. I've added the
alt.radio.satellite tag line to my accounts on Siriusbackstage and xmfan
to help promote the group for those who may not have caught the usenet
thread on those respective boards. I have not posted anything on XM411
as I don't go there often. It would be a good idea if someone let them
in on it, too :)

If you'd like to see what was posted before Google started archiving
the group, check using this news server:
news://news.cyberec.com/alt.radio.satellite

Or you can go to satelliteguys.us who has been archiving us from the
start as well as providing a portal to this group from their PHP board.
Just click on Forums, Usenet groups, alt.radio.satellite.
